Default MBRP Exhaust hanging?

Hey guys,

So I installed the MBRP offroad exhaust a few months ago and it keeps coming out of the hangers. It reuses the stock rubber grommet hangers but I can't figure out/come up with an idea to make sure it doesn't come out of them. I've tried adjusting the fitment of the pipe connectors and such to make the system tighter but no such luck. I was thinking of maybe something to slip over the end of the rod to make sure it doesn't go back through the hanger but I am sure as hell not a welder haha

So any ideas would be much appreciated

So I'd start by calling the company for there suggestion because its not working as designed, but a few things I thought of if thats not the route you want to take. 1st everyone is a welder with JB Weld and 2nd if you have a tap/die kit you could thread the end and put a stainless steel nylok on it to keep if from going through the grommet.

I contacted MBRP and they just said to tight up the system. Thats an awesome idea with the tap and die kit. At least in that case its removable as well.

Yeah thats the route I'd take, like you said it's removable. I'm surprised they didn't have a better answer for you than that, I'd try again to see if you get something better, since you've tried that and didn't work. On another note, I thought of something else you could try to. You could possibly use a torch and heat the hangers on the exhaust and try to bend them a little to tighten the fit on the grommet hangers, but thats kind of a lot of work if it doesn't work.
