Default Measuring for a driveshaft

So i want to go with a tom woods driveshaft but they are asking for a measurement on that says measure from lip of flange on transfer case output to face of flange on differential http://www.4xshaft.com/index.html I am assuming this can be done with driveshaft inplace correct?

+/- within .5" wont hurt at all as long as you fallow the points showed in the pic.

Mine front was 35-3/8 with a Currie 4" lift, which is supposed to be 5-1/2 of lift in the front. 1-3/8" seems like a big difference. I guess I'll find out today if I blew the measurement since I'll be installing it.
