Default Mesh Grill Inserts

Does anyone have the mesh inserts for the grill? I saw them on the Quadratec site. Are they hard to clean with bugs? Just thought they looked kinda cool and was wondering the drawbacks. Thanks.

It's a whole lot cheaper to buy gutter guard from Home Depot and rig something up yourselves

Check out the "Grill Mod" in JK write-ups...it's way cheaper and looks better in my opinion!

I have the Mr. Grille ones ordered from Quadratec. They wash off like any other part of the Jeep. Judging by the chips and dents in them (from stonechips on highway), they have saved my Rad / AC condensor from damage a few times. I would recomend them for both looks and functionality, I'm sure you would find the DIY solution just as effective

I picked up a black powder coated version from Quadratec, I guess almost a 9 months ago (where does time go?). Easy install, works great, no problem cleaning it, looks stock, and I'm happy with it.

I was also interested in the black ones. Do you get enough rock chips that they start to look bad?
