Metalcloak Bushing Life?
I'm not looking to start a this lift vs that lift thread. I'm soley looking for feedback from those who run Metalcloak arms as to bushing life. Thanks

Its going to depend on use and where you put your jeep.
If you are running as a daily driver I would doubt you would ever wear one out but if you run in sand dunes and mud a lot the grit and grim is going to get into the joint and cause wear like any other joint.
I really would not be concerned about the durabilty of the rubber compound they use in the joint. The new forged ends are a big improvement over the old style welded housing.

Thanks for your input Dirtman. My Jeep like many spends most it's time as a daily driver with an offroad trip once or twice a month on average. Occasional sand and occasional mud. I was just concerned about having to replace bushings on a yearly basis.

If you look in the Metalcloak thread, I remember one guy who took his control arms off at about 30k (I think) just to see how they held up. He said he did a lot of wheeling and they looked good. I only have about 5k on mine though.
