Lol... No. There's no fluid leaking.
Although .. I was afraid to open the res thinking that would empty the system.

You'd be correct. The cap is keeping it pressurized so it only leaks very slowly. I would plug the hardlines with something just to make sure you dont run out of fluids.

I got a 2.5'' kit with the ARB shocks coming on Wednesday. The instructions say the control arms and track bars are set from the factory for a 3.5'' but they don't say how long they're supposed to be for the smaller lift. Does anyone know about what length they are for the 2.5''?

Upper fronts stay the same (18.75 I think). Adjust lowers for 5* of caster (get an alignment and have them dial it in, but you can get close). Rears depend on a lot. 2 door or 4 door, how much lift you get, and what driveshaft you're running. MC specs are for an aftermarket driveshaft and rotate the pinion up. You don't want to do that with a stock drive shaft. Assuming you have a stock shaft, measure the pinion angle before starting and target to be close to slightly higher when done. Lengthen rear lowers about 1/8" shorter than the MC specs and then dial in the uppers to get the pinion angle.

I was using 3/4" bumpstops and was able to cycle the suspension enough to collapse the stock shock to 15" in the new lower shock mount.

I called MC yesterday and they told me that I won't be able to cycle the suspension that much with the springs installed because the 2.5" spring will become fully compressed at about 7". That is why MC states that 2" bumpstops are required.

The 2" bumpstops should also keep the older 6" tall rear track bar bracket from contacting the crossmember/coil bucket area.
