Just installed my 2.5" game changer. Does the bend in the rear coils look normal? It's on a 2-door. MC says it's fine...

 

It look a bit to much for me on a 2,5" lift. Maybe someone ells with the 2,5" lift can compare it to theirs.

 

Looks to me like the axle needs to be pushed back. Is the wheel centered in the wheel well?

If you want to get rid of the bow in the coils cut the coil perches off the axle and rotate them so they are level on top to the tube and weld them back on.

 

Maybe try shortening your upper arms

 

Looks like a combo of this and what monte417 said. My pinion angle is about 1 degree from horizontal. I'm still running a stock driveshaft, so the near term solution is to shorten the upper arms. When I go to a new driveshaft, I'll cut and rotate the coil perches.

The axle is definitely back far enough. Maybe too far.

 

Question for guys running metal cloak arms. Do those duroflex joints need to be greased?

Man; I have a 4.5 AEV lift with stock arms in back and my springs are perfectly straight. Somehow I think the Metalcloak arms are set too long?

 

Your springs are going to be straighter with stock arms. You haven't moved your axle position back. If you lengthen the lowers to push the axle back, clearing larger tires, you have to shorten the uppers to rotate the spring perches back towards the front. Going as far as you can until DS angle is too poor. If that is not enough rotation to straighten your springs , you can always get wedges and retainers to finish it off.

?? They're adjustable. I asked the question before I checked my pinion angle. That said, 4.5" on stock arms = arms are too short.
