Default Mickey Thompson Baja HT?

I am not sure how to change the title but after I looked at my email its Baja HP Tires

Anyone have any info on these. I have found a set of 35's for 500 bucks with less than 1000 miles on them. Is it a good price? I am mostly a mall crawler with very light trails. I am about to put my 2.5" lift on and would love to have 35's but dont have the money right now.

MT makes great tires. 1000 miles and 500 bucks, if you like the tread, what do ypou have to loose?

Great deal, but their web site says that the HT is an off-highway tube type tire, not tubeless. What were they on before- farm equipment?

EDIT: Oops, that's the Baja HP, not HT... I don't see what the HT is at all.

I picked up my BFG MTs and wheels used with 1200 miles on them. Great tires and I saved a ton.

Those tires suck for off road use, well and actually on road too. Would be fine for a mall crawler though

Thats all i needed to know. Like I said I might hit a trail once a month but my jeep is a DD and cant afford to mess anything up. I have seen these tires back a month or so ago when they were new. They dont look like they would be great tread. i need something that does well on the road...wet...dry..and now snow in my area... My toyo's are awsome but dont have a grand to drop on new 35's

My opinion would be wait until you have the money to get what you want unless your toyos are too worn. If you get these tires your just going to want something else. At least that's how I am.

That was my line of thinking. I was affraind i would look a little funny with my 265's and 2.5" lift (more like 3.25 due to the spacers I am going to add)

I'm sure some people run these on their trucks, but everything I can find online says that these are a specialty off-road tire for desert buggies and such, and are not for on-highway use.
Just based on that, I wouldn't feel safe putting them on a daily driver.
