Default Love my MTZs

I have about 2k miles on a set of 33x12.5x16 MTZs and love them. I was expecting lots of noise but was surprised by how quite they are. I really don;t hear them at all with my hardtop on. They are great on pavement too.

I've run both of them in past and they are 2 of my favorite tires. The ones I had required absolutely minimal weight for balance.

The ATZs had surprisingly good traction even compared to BFG KOs, but didn't come close to match the BFGs tread life.

The ATZs are also noticeably quieter and smoother than the MTZs. I would say the noise level MTZs is a bit above average, certainly higher than my current KM2s, but their off road traction is also better in some situations.

Unless you are going for looks, I would say make your choice based upon whether you need/want an AT or an MT tire.

I ran MTZ on my old cherokee in 31" and I sold the Jeep with the MTZs (tires @ 20k miles). the MTZs had no visible wear at all.

running MTZ's on my truck, love 'em, not to noisy, but hell my truck runs dual exhaust so i dont hear them anyways, no signs of wear, i air down at the beach a little and have no problems, dont have many miles on them since i only drive it except when i am home for R+R which is every 4 months, so cant help you there, but i will say this, they are a badass looking tire, no doubt,
