Quick question on the MTZ.. Do all the 35x12.5x17 come with white outline? Is this on both sides? Can the white be removed? Sorry for all the newbie questions.. i'm brand new to the Jeep thing! Thanks for your help.

Welcome ....

You can purchase the tire with or without white walls.... here is a pic of mine without the white

I have the 33" MTZ's and love them! I have free lifetime rotation with mine so I have been getting them rotated every 3K. Have been rotating in the spare to get extra life, but will move to 35's when these are gone! They are wearing very nicely! They balanced easily and have not required re-balancing in 20K miles. As with any tire I guess, the rocks have taken a toll on some of the lugs, but they are awesome offroad tires and one of the best looking tires IMO. Mine are 33x12x16's

If wanted, the White can easily be removed with a kitchen scourer pad - otherwise a run through the dirt offroad will quickly do it.

My MTZ's have black walls on one side and white lettering on the other. I just mounted them black wall side out! Should be easy as that...

I have 33x15.5, my jk is an '07 and they've been on there since at least '09 and they are still goin strong even after some HARD crawling. Wear is starting to show, because of the wear difference of my running tires to my spare I haven't rotated it in but I recommend it. In my opinion there are few better tires.

Thanks a bunch guys.. I did notice that the 33's and the 37's come standard with all blackwall and the 35's are the ones that say outlined?? Not sure why they chose the 35's but whatever. I guess I'll just take a scouring pad and get rid of the outline that way I don't have to see white on the inside of sidewall.. Thanks again for all your help and comments !!

Looking at these tires as well. Noticed that the 315 comes in a higher load rating than a 35" tire. I would assume that the C load rating of the 35" is adequate for a JKU. What would be the benefit of going to a higher load rating on a Jeep? I have friends that run the Terra grapplers and they are like an E rated tire. Seems to much for a JKU and possibly a rougher ride?

How about 37" MTZ on a nice set of AEV Pintlers?
