I like the look of a rig with no big plastic console between the seats and extending up to the gearshift levers - just a clean minimalist utility look. Can anyone recommend a replacement console (or boot kit) for the 2011+ JK that provides this? Even a tiny storage compartment between the seats would be okay, cupholders in back, but I'd love to do away with the chunky plastic thing under the gearshift levers. Maybe DIY is the way to go here.

I looked around and the only thing I've found was the taffy console. I purchased one and installed. Works great but it's the same as the stock one and a little taller. I don't think you'll find what your looking for from a vendor.security is way better than stock.
