Default Minimum Wheel Size?

Anyone know what the smallest wheel size I can run on an unlimited rubicon? I'm sitting on stock 17's now, but I'm wondering if I can go down to 16 or even 15's without trouble... going to put 35x12.5 toyo's on whatever wheel i decide.

15's are OK as long as you get the right wheel and offset. I have 15x8 Cragar Soft 8's, 4" backspace, with 35x12.50x15 tires and a 3" lift.

Well, you can get a JK from the factory with 16's, so of course they'll fit. Some 15's fit, some don't, do a search. There are quite a few threads on that subject.

Thanks guys. I'd love to run 15's, but I might go with 16's just for ease of finding wheels. I'm also trying to shove a 35x13.5 toyo on them and running 4" of backspace might throw them out a little too far.

I did find an american racing 15.x8 with 3.75" backspace. If I put 35x13.5's are they gonig to stick out too far? I'm worried about rubbing on the flares when they are tucked.

Where did you get the 15" soft 8's?
