Default Mirror Dimple Guards?

I searched but could not find anything that would protect the area just behind the hood. You know the area where the mirrors will dent (dimples) if your door strap is not attached. If you don't know about this don't think it can't happen to you. One time disconnect with a downhill slope and you can join the club. Of course, if you never remove your doors I guess it doesn't matter. I think it is actually a design flaw but I have a dimple and I plan on making something to correct the problem if something isn't already designed.
