Default Mixing Spacers and springs

I'm thinking of getting a 2.5in rubicon express lift now to go with my 33's and in the future if I upgrade to 35's maybe put .5in spacers on all four corners to net 3 inches of lift. Just wondering if since thats such a small amount of change if the shocks, relocated rear trac, and front trac bar will still serve their full purpose?

Also, I'm aware of the obvious of just getting a 3in lift now. I'm not sure if I'll ever run 35's, and 3in on 33's is a bit to high for my tastes.

With a 2.5 lift you can run 35.I have a teraflex 2.5 lift with 1"spacers all around to compensate for the heaver front bumper and winch and 34"toyo mt on the back with a high lift jack. 08 jku

I put in a Daystar 1 3/4" Comfort Lift $140 and a set of springs off a Rubi Unlimited $75 and got my 3" with no other modifications. Guys are always selling off their springs, shocks, etc., when doing a lift kit so you can get some good prices on the springs.

Spacers up to an inch are a good way to get back the height you lose with heavy bumpers and armor. The lift specs are never exact on springs because of the variances in weight. Most kits actually lift a little more (or a lot more) on lighter Jeeps than the advertised height.

On my 2DR Sport, the 3" lift netted over 4" until I added bumper, tire carrier, winch, etc. Now it's maybe 3.75".

Even my 4DR loaded down pig Rubi was over 4" with a 3" lift and 3/4" spacers...

Added 3/4 inch pucks to my 2.5 TF coil lift all the way around after adding bumpers, winch, and armor. No issues here, and does what it was intended to do.

I say go ahead and put a 1" spacer in there. I have a 1" TF spacer on top of my TF 2.5" coils. Rides amazingly well, but I think the fox shocks help alot. It looks good with 35" tires.
