Default The modding shall begin...

I was gonna try and hold off on mods till I got more used to my jeep but next month I will be getting a lot of the parts that I want for my daily driver.

Here's my small list....

RC 2.5 lift
RC performance steering stabilizer
33 in tires, gonna keep the stock wheels
then a programmer not sure on which one yet

Is there anything else that I need for sure with the parts I am getting? I plan on using my 3.21s for a little while till I save up another chunk of cash.

with 33s. if you just want something a little bigger. what about teraflex leveling kit?
and id say get the superchip. cause you can change to different tunes which is great for regaining power and mpg.
the other lift I looked at was a rustys lift kit, 2in, do you know if it's prone to sagging?

Superchips Flashpaq is awesome! I've had mine for a couple months now and I was shocked by the difference in the way it drove. I had been running the 91 octane tune until yesterday. There is a noticable difference between stock and 91oct! I reset it to 87 yesterday because I was tired of paying $4 a gallon..

There are also a lot of other features that are great. Radiator fan control, tire size, gear ratios, speedo calibration ect ect..

Rouch country products are appropriately named "rough". You get what you pay for..

Might want to look at the Teraflex budget boost. RC makes good stuff and a lot of people are happy with it .

X2. Mine has barely sagged after a year and a half with a winch and bumper. Rusty's coils are made in america, the other imported

I've considered the budget boost but I want something that will still off road well, and not sure the bb will get me
That.

I'm waiting on my Rock Krawler 2.5" max travel lift to come in the mail. Did a lot of research and it came down to Rock Krawler or OME lift. Chose RK because they would give me 3" of lift after they settled down some and still be a softer ride. OME HD can give 3.5" of lift but are rougher because they're made to accomodate heavy bumpers.

Check out Teraflex 2.5" shocks/springs lift, OME standard or HD lift, and Rock Krawler 2.5" stock mod or max travel lift.

I went with the RK max travel because I got brake line extensions, front sway discos, extended rear sway bars, front & rear lower control arms, and springs. Added Bilstein 5100 shocks, and Teraflex lower front & rear bumpstops. All this for $1400. Can't beat that.

You may need 1.5 inch spacers so the wider tires won't rub on steering/suspension parts.
