Default Modification to a TF rear upper control arm

I ordered a set of rear upper control arms from TF for my JK 4 door (2007). They dont fit. I tried everything and they still dont fit. The TF customer service toll me that i recieved the right part just need to cut the shaft of the arm about 3/4" to make them work.

Does anyone with the same issue?

Default TF arms

I Installed a full set of 8 and everthing fit. I wouldn't be cutting anything if it was me. Either they fit or don't, if not send them back.

Who at TF told you to modify them? Contact Joe.

Just cut them???

That doesn't sound right!

In any case the manufacturer would be obliged to provide parts that fit. The arms may just be mislabeled.

Are maybe installing them backwards (adjustable part towards the frame)?

Thanks guys for you advice. I spoke with joe and he was the guy who recommended the modification. I bought them from 4wd. they came in the TF 3 " lift. Seems this is not normal so i' m going to exchange them. I installed correctly they dont fit they are offset from tje eyes about 1-1/2".0
