Modification you regret. What do you wish you didn't do today?
My biggest regret is the Bushwacker Pocket flares. Too big/bulky for the front. I can not install the AVE snorkel due to the top of the flare sitting higher. I considering the Rugged Ridge Hurricane Flares but Hard to judge from pictures and not enough feed back.
Rough Country lift. Absolutely Horrible.
Superchips Flashpaq. Some nice features, but not enough to justify the price.
Rusty's Offroad axle back exhaust. Sounded good at idle but it made my brain hurt from the drone at highway speeds. I'm still searching for my magic muffler.
Cooper Discoverer STTs. Not suitable for road use IMHO.
And my biggest regret? Buying a JK with a manual transmission. Don't get me wrong, I love having a stick, but my Jeep is my daily driver. I live someplace that has some of the worst traffic in the nation and stop n go traffic is the norm, so I got tired of clutching it endlessly. I had my 1st JK built just the way I wanted it and then sold it to buy an automatic. Oh, and my wife struggled to learn how to drive a standard and was never comfortable driving it. Some might see that as a bonus
I'll counter all of the above negativity with something positive. I absolutely love my new General Grabber AT2s.

The agreement with my wife was that I'll DD it for a year. I don't mind the manual off road or when there's no traffic. Just sucks big time when I have to drive in rush hour traffic. No plans to sell it for an auto, but doubt I would ever by a manual again.
Not waiting for the 2012's to come out, so now I'm stuck with a 3.8. Don't want to trade it in cause it's almost paid off, and plus, I would loose money on all the mods! I'm dealing with it though!!!!!!

I had a 2011 traded it for a 2012 rubicon and had troubles with the 12 no real trouble with the 2011 3.8 ,
also you can change your spark plugs easy on the 3.8
i can not with a 12 . 3.6
And after you have your 3.8 is the way you want it who cares about being new or not. theres always a new year comming out , Id enjoy that 3.8 thats modded the way u like it .
I don't know what you did in high school for $. But it will pay off. Until you get married. And have kids. Then have to sell your Jeep and buy a 4 door.
