modifications allowed under full warranty
So I figured I might as well use my warranty while I have it, but I still have some mods in mind. What mods are allowed under the full warranty? Obviously you can't list everything, but what obvious n common mods are allowed, and what common mods void the full warranty?
It depends on the dealership. You might want to pull the service manager aside and ask him. The one I go to is a little unique. It's only a few miles away from the AEV center in Wixom, Michigan, so they get TONS of JK's modified to the gills - Hemi's, snorkels, 4 inch lifts, the works. And they don't even blink - they just work on them. They told me the only things they can't warranty are the new aftermarket parts I put in, but they will honor the warranty on all the OEM parts.
But every dealership is different. Ask yours directly and if they don't have such an arrangement, go to a few more dealerships until you find a cool one

Yes as stated above you need to check with your dealer. Thats why I had the dealer do all the work on my jeep (lift, tires, lights, winch, bumper, ect). Now if I have a problem i just bring it back and say here you go . So far so good . The only down side is that you are married to that dealer . If things dont work out another dealer will not touch the work they have done. Good luck and make sure you do your home work .
