Default Modified Auto shifter

Everytime I grab the auto shifter handle I feel like it is out of an old Ford
Pinto (showing my age). Anyone done an after market shifter mod on their auto? I would love to change mine out to something with a better feel
to it.

Thanks

There are a couple of threads about this.

Mine is the manual 6 speed knob.

yeah do a seach on the forum... check out gennie shifter, they have the lo-dapt adapter for the jk, then you will be able to put any shifter you want....

I did mine and I love it, and you can change your shifter in half a minute

Hope this helps

With an adapter this might fit the bill:

Sounds like Spinlock may have you covered.

That's some serious hardware!

Thank you sir! I will check that out. Ready to get rid of that cheesy feeling
T-Shifter. Some may like it but it looks and feels very cheap.
Don't get me wrong, I love my jeep.

Na you might only be showing your age by saying that you are. I had a pinto for my first car. New it was not but man it was fun. Many thought it was a mustang for some reason. And I swear my pinto is in the movie Twilight. There is a teal one in there and that is the color I had. Dad painted it for me. Sorry to get off the topic of shifter handles. Just felt like thinking about the old days before the jeep.
