Question Modified Exhaust Kit

Has anyone intalled the Cool Tech exhaust system that moves the muffler from the rear to the midsection of the 4Door JK? Would like to know if anyone is running this system and there have been any problems with this kit.

I am not running the cooltech system, but I think you may want to consider going with the Woods exhaust kit. I got one and I am very happy with it! It moves the muffler forward of the rear axle and has a nice exit out the back, very easy to install! PM Woods and he can give you more info. A couple photos.....

I installed this myself a week ago. Extremely easy to install, and sounds perfect. Not too loud, but just enough low gruntly rumble.

Zero problems so far. Most people even welded midpipe to the new muffler, however I did not. No leakage. I actually increased my gas mileage by 1.5mpg.

If you have the towing package, you might want to re-route it so the new endpipe doesn't burn it.

Default Cool Tech Exhaust

Have had mine for almost a year now. I welded it up after I drive it for a few days just to do it. No problems, sounds great, and looks great as well. Just take your time and follow the instructions. Every once in a while an extra set of hands is helpful but beyond that is is a rather easy install.
Good Luck

I have the Cooltech kit. It a really nice kit and very easy to install. They are also great to deal with. The first tail pipe they sent me had a bad bend and did not fit right, they over nighted me a new one. Great customer service.

The woods kit also looks really nice. And I know Woods is great to deal with as well, I have his EC relocation kit. So I dont think you can go wrong either way. Although if you are thinkin about adding Wood's extended cargo trunk, I think you need to go with his exhaust kit too. I think the bend in the cool tech kit would interfere with it.
