Default Mods throwing trouble codes????

I've been having some electrical problems. With cruise control engaged, I will have everything electrical shut off for a split second then come back on. The speedo and tach drop to zero then spin back up, radio goes out, and it kicks me out of cruise. Also, when I turn on the turn signal my windshield wipers engage once. I've read on here that it's possibly the TIPM.

Anyway, I took it to the dealer yesterday for service.(warranty) The service manager called me today and said the computer showed a bunch of trouble codes but they don't know which ones were caused by my mods, and which ones might be causing my problem. The only mods that I've really done are adding a lightbar, JW Speaker headlights, LED fogs, and I ran some LED's up under the wheel wells and wired them to the dome light. I also have a 3.5" lift on it too.

I have a bullydog programmer that hasn't shown any trouble codes when I checked. Could my lighting upgrades cause a bunch of trouble codes like the dealer said, or is that just an excuse because they can't figure out what's wrong??? They called today and asked if they could hook the computer up to it and drive it around to get some readings. I figured I'd get on here and ask.

Just had mine in the other day and was told by the mechanic it was throwing codes. Had no idea what he was talking about but he explained. I put in truck lites and led driving lights and he said that's what's throwing the codes. He said the computer system in the jeep knows when something has changed in the electrical system. He printed the read out for me. Code b1630 right low beam control circuit high, b162 left low beam control circuit high, b16fd front right fog lamp control circuit high and b16f9 front left fog lamp control circuit high. Sorry to break it to you but it's your lights

I get the same codes but it doesnt throw a CEL on my dash or affect the jeep at all. Only when i check for codes do they shoe up on my programmer. Yours is likely from running low draw LED lighting or something in the pcm has screwed up.

It's mot throwing codes on mine either. I had it in for water pump replacement and he performed a software update and found them.

No problem, it's good to have that info. It always seems to happen where the problems all occur when I'm driving, then don't show up whenever the service department has my vehicle.

The part that I don't understand is that I only have a problem when my cruise control is on. It happens about 30 minutes into my drive, when I have cruise control on. I lose my speed, speedo and tach drop to zero then right back up, and my radio goes out then comes back on. One time, the traction control light came on, and I couldn't shut off the cruise or the trac ctrl. The dealership only drove it a few miles and couldn't get it to malfunction. Frustrating!!
