Monstaliner? Anyone use this?
I used the monstaliner for my front bumper and rails. Took a lot of wacks and looks great, no fading, no chipping. My texture is not rough at all and relatively smooth. You can make it more of the rough texture if you roll the roller over it to 'lift' it a couple minutes into the drying process as per the instructions. I didn't want that as the rougher it is, the harder it is to clean. I plan to use it for the interior once it warms up and ditch the carpet.
I have a craftsman 165 psi 30gal air compressor and had it set Right around 60 psi. The higher the psi the rougher the texture. The lower the smoother. Around 60 I found it had enough texture but wasn't so rough that it would tear your skin up if you slid across it.
I have heard of guys using smaller compressors. They just either ran the whole time or they had to stop often to let tank build pressure back up
