Default Mopar 44 axle/drive shaft

If this can go into a diff thread ya can move it just let me know lol.

I have a 07 X. Dana 30 in the front 4.10 gears. I'm buying the mopar Dana 44. I already have 4.10 gears In the rear. The reason I'm going with the mopar 44. Is I don't plan on going any bigger than 35's and that won't be for a few years. I still have a brand new set of 33's. So that's why I'm getting the mopar 44. My question is will I need to buy a new front drive shaft or will my stock one line up? I know I should just do it anyways but money is kinda tight but I can convince mom to go with it lol. The axle was kinda not in my buying range right now. But I can swing it. Any help is much appreciated. Dave

The dana 30 should be fine with 35's, if you do hardcore wheeling you might want to get chromoly shafts for the front, but until you get 37 or regear you should be fine.

I did an axle swap recently -- D30 to Rubi D44. I didn't need anything special for the DS, but I already had an aftermarket JE Reel 1310 w/ yoke. You might need to get a yoke which is not expensive. Might not even need that though.
