Default Mopar 44 or Dynatrac 44

I want to run 37's and I am wondering if I should get the Mopar 44 or the Dynatrac ProRock 44 for the front? Or should I just run the 30? I am getting the Evo coilovers and I dont want to have to weld on new brackets.

From what I understand, the ProRock 44 is just a housing. Building it would cost more, but it would ultimately be superior to the Mopar 44 in every way once completed. If you have the cash, go with building the ProRock. Good luck.

I got a quote from Dynatrac and the ProRock 44 housing with ARB, 5.13's, and axles installed and shipped is $4,061.08.

HOLY CRAP! I know it's a fine product, but you could buy 3 complete Mopar 44's for that. It would be any easy decision for me...I have shallow pockets.

I haven't kept up with things lately, but I paid $1,400 for mine including tax and shipping. Good luck.

Well...if I get just the Mopar 44 and run that it is $1000 cheaper than the Dynatrac. But if i beef up the Mopar 44 with shafts, ARB, 5.13's it would be cheaper to get the Dynatrac. Unless by a miracle i can find a JK at a junk yard with a front 44 in good condition. then it might be cheaper to build up the mopar.

well keep in mind that if u get the mopar 44, it already has only 4.10 gears, the electric locker, and what eve else in it. u woulod have to pay labor cost to upgrade the gears, get rid of the elocker, and pay for another locker and new gears, install kits. now this is all if u dont want the stock stuff in there. personally, all im doing is arb fron and rear, 5.13 gears in my dana 30. but my conditions in fl and al might be different from yours. im not even worrying with the axle upgrade.
