I've seen the pictures but have not seen them in person. Is everyone who has them happy with the quality of the Mopar bumpers?

 

Pretty satisfied right put it on in april and still working and looking good.

 

Mine came with them installed from the dealer. I had them remove it because it had a small chip in it and had rust within that chip. I just felt like the paint could have been better or the rust proofing could have (imo). I have my Jeep parked at the beach quite often and any little metal surface had better be covered one way or the other, otherwise it will fall apart within a couple years. It is my second favorite bumper. Too bad that was my experience or I would definitely own it.

 

Have front bumper, install wasn't too bad and quality is very good, also installed the Mopar front skid which is also good quality and takes a beating well so far with no damage, both look great!!!

 

I've get them and like them. The quality seems good to me. I just had to put my own fogs in. I've also been thinking about converting it to a Stubby.

 

Blkrubi I really like your front bump, was there an option for the factory fog's to be used?
Also what did you use to drill thr holes in your bumper?

 

Nope, no option, it can be done though along the same lines that I did with my foglights. Look up Luckystrike in the gallery, he did pretty much the same as I did, but with factory fogs. I just used a bi-metal hole saw cut through it, no problem.

How about under the Bullbar is there a place available to mount some fog's here? kinda like on the AEV Bumper.

 

I've got them and I like them. I had the dealer fit them when I took delivery. If I were to do it again I'd fit them myself as the dealer didn't really do a great job (hard to see how you can screw up a bumper install this easy but there you go).

The quality is good and I really like the look.

The rear bumper mounted wheel holder isn't my favorite - functions fine but has a tendency to rattle - that can be mitigated by carefully adjusting all the fittings and someone else posted a couple of days ago on moding the catch which is where it rattles (essentially - add rubber padding). My plan for that is ultimately to remove it and mount the wheel inside the car on a baja style mount which I have yet to design let alone fabricate (so the wheel holder is fine for now)

The only downside to the bumpers themselves for me is that there is no option for fitting the foglights into the bumber without drilling. I have the MOPAR aftermarket lights and hate the look so they will be going. The choice for me at the moment is whether to top mount Cibies or some such on top of the bumper or go for a bumper mod and integrate some lamps as per BLKRUBI.

As mentioned by someone else - the skidplate sems pretty solid (I'm new to this wheeling thing so am easing in gently but so far so good). I think that a winch shjould mount really neatly and quite low down on the front bumper too. That's on my to do list.

Qu to BLKRUBI: After you had drilled the holes, how did you mount up the lights from then on (any fabrication or hjust bolt-on?) - it looks from the photo as if the lens is mounted within a tube. I can figire something out myself that shoudl work but was lookign for as much input as possible before deciding what to do with mine.

 

If you have the non-winch bumper, you could put them in the center like the factory bumper, they just won't fit there with a winch, the factory foglights are too deep.
