Mopar Evap skid and/or diff plate
Mopar's seem to be cheaper than aftermarket which is shocking :gasp: it's making me consider them seriously. Here's the Mopar website link:

The Kilby Relocation Kit moves it into the empty space above the axle. Nothing's going to get it up there. Did them on both our JK's, and not a single problem. I recommend adding a couple hose clamps to get good seals; their locations will be obvious. About a 2 hour job and worth every penny in peace of mind.

OP, you might check with your particular dealer for an answer to this.
A valid point, and one I considered. I decided there was a higher risk of trail damage than the system going bad.
