I was going to get the door for mine and then said to myself that it doesn't belong on a jeep. I also agree that that is a lot of cash for a fuel door, but then it is alot less than the lift I just ordered!

I've never noticed mine moving, but then again I kinda bent the lip a little getting the stock one out and it could have a bit of added pressure.

Probably 20K miles on mine, including quite a bit of off-road--no scratches in the paint.

Once you get mud up around your fuel filler valve, you'll understand it's not a trim piece--it serves a real purpose.

I was going to go with the rugged ridge because of the locking ability but it looked kinda cheap so I went with MOPAR. I will be getting the locking gas cap soon. It ain't cheap you know!!!!!!!!

Just checked mine and it moves. I'm still glad to have it because it does keep the mud out.

I have the rugged ridge lockable fuel door and let me say its awesome. Fits great looks great easy to install and the locking mechanizm functions great. Not to mention you can snag one on ebay for 50 bucks. It doesnt say jeep but it still looks and functions great.

I just installed the Mopar fuel door last night - no movement at all - and works great with the locking cap.

The most difficult part of the installation that I ran into was getting the rubber seal of the original plastic housing - in the process I tore the rubber a bit (doh!).
