There was a green 4 door from NY with that lift kit at the Bethel, ME Jamboree last weekend. I don't know if you got a chace to look at . The lift kit itself is very impressive. Radius arm kit. He had the 4.5" Rubicon Express Radius arm kit I believe. It was sitting on 36" tires. Very nice Jeep. I wheeled with him on the Chili Trail on Saturday. Now if you don't know I have a Superlift 4" kit with Bilstien shocks and adjustable track bars front and rear. I haven't done any of the control arms yet. I spent less than $800.00 for my lift. He was lifting tires on his $4000.00 lift and 36" tires. I wasn't with my $800.00 lift and 33's. The superlift kit was designed with Mopar Engineers from the very beggining. There were other people last weekend that were very impressed with the Superlift kit as well. They also had various other companies 4" lift kits that were more expensive and were not reacting as well. One guy was so aggrivated with his very epensive lift that he will be taking it off soon and going with a Black Diamond 3" kit. The Superlift kit is upgradeable with the upper and lower control arms as well. The nice thing is you can do it a little at a time if need be.

If you want to take another look at mine just let me know... you can take it for a ride if you would like to get a feel for it.

When shopping for a lift myself, I spoke to RE directly and their 4.5" long arm kit is the "Mopar" lift. That does raise the price up to the $3300 price range.

I also spoke to a local off road shop that builds/races rock crawlers and they said that the kit is a lot more complicated to install than other lifts. With their plasma cutters, lifts, and commercial size compressors they needed 18.5 hours for an install.

So, $3300 long arm lift
1000 driveshafts
1110 18.5 hours labor @$60/hr (my local dealer accessory install rate)
-------------
$ 5410

Sounds about right to me.

thanks for all the info guys! I get what you all are saying about the RE kit. I will be honest, I am still just at the research phase of this. I have a stock rubi 2 door. It did REALLY well, but I know a small lift would help with some of the scraping. I am thinking about 3", and 33's or MAYBE 35's. Any suggestions? By the way, I am lokking for basically bullet proof. Not that $ is no object, but I want to get it right. Thanks texs for the offer by the way!

Check out my set up. My JK rides very close to stock with my current set up and I'm sure you will spend much less $ than the "Mopar lift kit" The only issue I'm having is a slight drift to the left, but I plan to resolve that tomorrow

Good luck

I was looking into the Mopar lift as well. I decided against it as soon as I saw the price. But I do have the info if anyone wants to look into it.

Mopar Perofrmance Jeep Wrangler JK Long-Arm 4.5-IN. Lift Kit P5155075

By the way I did not mispell that, I just copied and pasted.

Go to moparsupercenter.com type in the part number and see for yourself. By the way I think it's like $4500, but that still doesn't include installation. I'm not sure if the the $5300 includes the dealer installing it either.

Now I'm thinking, Black Diamond, Nth deg., or OME.
