Mopar Lifts.. Opinions please
I'm living in South Africa. We have very limited aftermarket products here.
Jeep said they'll bring in any Mopar products for me and install them.
So I'd like to know if anyone has the Mopar 2.5" or 4.5" or knows something about them and has info to share?
And is it true that the Mopar lifts are actually Rubicon Express lifts with a Mopar logo?
All info will be greatly appreciated

There have been quite a few threads on Mopar lifts lately, so you might start with a quick search to get more opinions and advice if you don't get enough replies here.
General consensus is that they are very over-priced for what you get, and that most dealerships will not honor a warranty on them. (though you may be lucky with your particular dealer.) As stated above, it is simply a re-branded kit from another lift manufacturer. Opinions vary, but it looks like the Mopar 2" coil kit is a rebranded Superlift 4" kit with shorter coils? And the Mopar 4" kit is a rebranded RE 4" long arm kit.
If you go with the 2" kit, be sure to browse the other threads relating to the possible need for new driveshafts, and warranty issues that may arise from it.

I have the 4.5" Long Arm kit on mine. It was installed by the dealership, and I have it in writing that is included in the "Limited Lifetime Warranty".
I couldn't be happer with the lift. 80+MPH on the highway (even with a small trailer) and it drives just like a passenger car.

You are a genius for getting the warranty in writing. I am just curious, is it only honored by the dealer who instaled it?

Estian,
As I have stated in other posts, I have a family member with the 2" kit. It yields much more than 2". I would estimate more like 3-4". The kit is pretty complete but for the money, I would explore other options. I realize it may be difficult to get after market products where you are. You might be better off paying a ton in shipping and ordering online if possible. I do not know what your local dealer is quoting but my brother in law paid about $2400 U.S. for the kit and installation. The parts were about $1400 of that. For $1400 you can get a ton more through aftermarkets.
That being said, he runs this kit on a 2007 Rubicon and is pleased.
Good luck in whatever you decide to do.

It is included in my Jeep Warranty package, so I would assume that it would be good at any dealership, but so far I have only gone back to where I bought it.
They were great to deal with. The Rubi had the Aluminum tube bumpers and side rails installed when I bought it. One month later, after looking at the pricing for new off-road bumbers and rock guards, I went back to them and they gave me new Mopar Off-road bumpers and the stock Rubicon rockrails for my old ones (at no additional cost)
