Default Mopar offroad bumper?

What do people think of the mopar off road bumper, worth it? Or should I look elsewhere.

Pick a bumper on what you like, they all do the same thing.

The main concern with aftermarket bumpers is weight. You don’t want heavy bumpers to slow you down even more

I got the mopar rear bumper and tire carrier. I lov it and think it looks great. I'm sure it's heavy as hell but I doubt it's hurting more than any other combo or the tires for that matter. Looking for something more attractive for the front like the aev.

I bought the Mopar rear with the optional tire carrier and love it. It really is a beefy bumper and I like the way it snugs the rear corners of the Jeep. It was kind of a PITA to install and I definitely recommend 2 people and some beer for if and when you do it. The main reasons I leaned towards the Mopar was that it uses the existing holes in the frame for mounting and still lets you use your hitch which is a plus for me. The only thing I did notice is that the powder coat on the welds doesn't really seem to be that great and was showing rust when I removed it from the box. I just shot them with some Krylon semi flat black (seems to be a perfect match) and no biggie. If this turns out to be the pattern I will probably pull it and have it Rhino Lined. Might do that anyways...
I also have the front Mopar front winch bumper sitting in the building right now waiting to go on but am waiting until I get my new winch. From looking at the install manual it is much easier to install the winch as the bumper is going on! I guess that is probably the rule of thumb with most though.

I am also looking for bumpers. But I am looking at d-rings on the front. Can these be added to the Mopar bumper?

I like mine.

Rear install:

Front winch install with mopar bumper already in place:

Note how I mounted my front license plate. Much better than stock IMO.

overall, I like the protection these bumpers provide, especially in the rear.

Oh, and if you ever crack the front, square bumperettes, try to save them before discarding. They cannot be purchased new stand alone.
