on another JEEP forum ... but they don't know either

 

all i did was take 2.5"x 1/8" flat stock about 63" i think long and weld it all long the length in about 2" spots then skipping somewhere else. then i ground it smooth. i added little wings on each end to follow the fender line. i still have to add tubes and then i can drill and attach to the body. i really like them and i am very happy i did this. the rocker guards cost me $250 and the metal was another $10. so i think these will be very sturdy rock rails when i am done.

 

This seems to be the way to go. I really like these.

Does someone knows were to get 'em?
