Mopar suspension question
So I have a 2015 stock jk I want to lift it but hear is my question. Should I avoid my warranty and get the lift kit I want. Or should I get the Mopar 2 inch lift which I priced at $1800 and not risk voiding my warranty. So I guess my real question is do you guys think the Jeep Wrangler suspension warranty is worth sticking with mopar. By the way I don't plan on doing any serious crawling.
I recently drove a 2" lifted unlimited with dealer installed mopar lift and all terrain tires for a day. All on road in both highway and city driving. It was the harshest riding JK I have ever ridden in. I have also driven AEV lifted, teraflex lifted, rockkrawler lifted, and my own synergy lifted JK. All of the others on 35"+ mud terrain tires and they all ride much softer and comfortable, much less stiff and jarring.
The only good thing I noticed about the Mopar lifted JK is the steering was pretty tight on the highway due to the cambolts correcting the castor, and I have a feeling the one I drove had higher than stock castor.
Personally I would not recommend a mopar lift to anyone. It's pricey and doesn't ride great. The teraflex also didn't ride great but was 1/3 the cost so at least you have that savings for a similar ride.

I could be wrong here and it likely does depend on the dealer. Lifting your Jeep doesn't necessarily void the warranty on the entire Jeep. If the dealer wants to try to claim that something went wrong because of the lift or the bigger tires that you have, then they might try to do deny the warranty claim. It sounds like with the 2" lift that they are saying they won't fight you on warranty claims. Also, they are giving a warranty on the suspension components as well, which won't be the case if you go with a different lift. Will they still honor the warranty if you use bigger than stock tires?

You also need to get in writing whether it is covered under the mfg's warranty, or it is a 'dealership' warranty. Dealership only, no other shop in the country will have to honor it. (a guy posted a few years back about having the dealership regear his jk so it would stay under warranty. Toasted the gears while driving cross-country - and found out the hard way how other dealerships handle warranty issues. Aftermarket parts, go pound sand...)

I would say it's dealership specific, and the dealer may be fine with it. In the fine print of the Mopar lifts, it states they are performance parts and are not included in the factory warranty.
The dealer I go to, I'm friends with the service manager. He has a 2013 JKUR with the AEV 3.5" lift and 35's and he wheels his pretty hard. His stance is if the modified part causes the failure, then it is not covered.
