Default Mopar vs Everybody Else

This is a pretty broad question, but starting in a few months I’m going to have an ongoing opportunity for to get a pretty good discount on Mopar parts. My question is, what do they do better than the aftermarket? Is there any one part from Mopar that, if given a discount, I should definitely buy?

Thanks. Sorry if this exists elsewhere, I searched a bit and didn't see anything.

I am looking at swapping in a rubi t-case instead of an Atlas. Not saying it's a better unit, just that it would probably be better for 'my' needs.

Agree with the above. A good deal on a Rubi t-case or D44s might be worth a look. The rest is marked up and/or rebranded.

I buy Mopar oil filters at the dealer for $5 a pop since they're cheaper than aftermarket filters and keep my 3.8 from having a dry start problem.

Mopar gets a bum rap but makes some nice stuff. A lot of it is just rebadged something else. I get a Mopar front skid and it is solid as a rock and fits the stock bumper which was hard to find. I see they have nice AEV bumpers and wheels and there lifts are decent rebadged yada yada.

As was already said, most MOPAR gear is just rebadged aftermarket stuff anyways.
