Default Moparpartsoverstocked.com

I had an experience recently with Moparpartsoverstocked.com and was curious if perhaps it was truly an isolated incident or not. What had happened is I purchased an alternator that had higher amperage then the stock alternator and they had it listed as compatible with my 2009 JKU gas engine with an image of the correct alternator and everything. However when it arrived it turned out being the alternator for the diesel engine and wouldn't fit no matter how bad I wanted it to. First thing they did when I asked them about it was upload picture of the alternator they sent me and add that it was compatible with the diesel engine but never removed that it was compatible for the gas engine or the picture of the alternator on the gas engine. Their response was they sent me the right component and didn't want to process a return and after some arguing they wanted me to pay to return it and pay 15% restocking fee. Under normal circumstances if I would have gotten what I ordered and for some reason changed my mind I would understand (I really haven't ordered things and returned them, I usually think long and hard about such things). But since they sent me something different than what was described or in the picture I disputed the charge on my credit card. It took about a year for them to finally send a shipping label to return it and never did process any refund (I had to do that through my credit card company). Is this something that others have experienced from them? I was shocked at the low level of service and how it was repeatedly blamed on me (at one point they said the reason they request the VIN was to prevent mistakes like this when I was never asked for the VIN until after trying to figure out what they had already sent me). Please let me know if this is what others have experienced before I give them another try.

I have actually purchased many things from them without issue. Some times, I have called them to verify fitment just to be sure. I've been very happy with the service and products. Hopefully, this was an isolated incident because I like their stuff and intend to continue to buy from them. Good luck to you.
