Sorry, I didn't mean to come across rude. I was answering that on my phone typing and didn't realize how it came out. Please accept my apologies.

holy god that is the scariest thing ive ever read about!

I could not get the right front mount under the passenger door to line up so I ended up jacking the frame up reallllllly high untill I could insert the bolt and start the thred and then the body self corrected itsefl as i tightened everything all down. I thought that was extreme but my story is no where near the level of what you just did!

So let me get this straight if you before you tighten all your body mounts down go in reverse and slam on the the brakes and you wont have to trim the inner boot. I ask because i am installing a MORE BL right now

No you still have to trim. You just want to make sure the body is slid all the way back so you can shift. Doing just one (trim or slide) helps a little on their own and perfect when done together. Sounds a little redneck but that's the best type of engineering.

That's a whole other topic right there. 2.5 +1" BL is the way to go when your on a budget. If you got the dough then spend it on a long or short arm kit. Buying a kit over 3" suspension and not being able to adjust anything (long or short arm) and your asking for trouble. Don't forget some of us would have to buy drive shafts too.
