I HAVE A FLOWMASTER MUFFLER ONLY AND THAT WAS NOTICEABLE, THEN I WENT TO A K&N DROP IN AND DRILLED THE AIRBOX, SAME EXACT EFFECT AS A C.A.I. AND ITS CHEEP

Default Mods - more than drilling holes in stock aribox

So far I've installed the JET stage 1 chip, and the Gibson axle-back exhaust.
I'd say there is a definite change in the drivability. The 'dead-spot' around 3000-3500 rpm is all but gone and my MPG has gone up 3mpg city and 4mpg highway. Running 91 octane.
The biggest difference I have noticed is my (automatic) tranny is now able to hold the appropriate gear while driving up hills.
Hynometer results (from the seat of my pants) +18-20 HP and +30-40 lb-ft of torque.
The best thing about it is the torque comes in much lower in the RPMs now, where you can actually use it.
I'm holding off on the CAI systems until there is a reputable snorkel available (Volant or ARB) to go with it.

You mean to tell me that I've been putting up with it shifting WAY too early for NOTHING???

All I have to do is ask the dealer for a REFLASH????

i had a 7 pin trialer harness installed which included a flashing of the unit the shift points changed. When you get on it you can feel the shift now. Maybe I was told something false but I feel the difference
