Default More questions about rims :|

Alright I've got my tires ordered and now once again I'm all confused on what rim with fit these tires. The tire size is 315x70x17 so I know I need a 17" rim but don't know if I need a 17x8, 17x9 ect. Thanks again!

I know 17 X 9 will work. Pretty sure 17 X 8 would work too. Just make sure you get 4.5" backspacing or less.

I'm running that size on stock Rubicon rims that are 17*7.5 so you can go with 7.5, 8.0, 8.5, 9.0. Whatever size and style fits your taste. Watch back spacing as said above, or you can use spacers. Most get the correct back spacing with new wheels to avoid using spacers

I'm going for that wide look so I'm just hoping if I go 17x9 it has that wide stance. It's very hard to find anything bigger then 17x9 iv come to realize after looking for hours. ::sad::

Wide stance is about the back spacing. Like said before, 4.5 inches and you can't go wrong on a 17x9 wheel.

running spacers are fine too, as long as you don't go cheap on them.
You don't want to be driving down the hwy and see your wheel pass
you in the lane next to you.....

That would be a Bad Thing.

Saw that happen to a tractor trailer.....only difference was the axle
was still attached to the wheel... It was flopping along on the hwy.
Those big wheels cause a lot of damage when they break free.
