Default more rearend problems, this time bearings

so after the issue with my pinion was fixed, i finally got to button everything together and take it for a test. I immediately heard some metal on metal noise, kinda like static and a high pitch metallic noise when i changed gears between 1-2 and 2-3, and i didn't really notice anything going high speed although the tires drown a lot of that out. I took it back to the house and parked it, noticed my rotor was tore up on the outside face rear passenger and I saw fluid leaking into my rim. I thought, great brakes are messed up and the seal is bad, when I took it apart today i found bearing tore to hell, seal matching and caliper to rotor contact on the outside.

I tracked down a new bearing and seal after 3 parts stores, and with what they gave me, the outer race is part of the bearing unit so should not have stayed in the housing as the picture depicts. The piece with the four studs was severely warped as well so I went to the jeep place, amazingly they are less than 10 dollars a piece and I ordered 2 which should be in tomorrow. The cheapest I have ever left the dealer.

mostly i am just griping but i was curious if anyone has run into similar issues. My jeep has just under 40K miles on it, and I have driven maybe 200 miles on 37's with stock gearing and 4 miles with 5.13.

on a side note, it has been garaged for about 4 weeks now, after tomorrow, I should be finally ready for a little offroad testing and get my fix.

i had this problem last week on rear pass side after install of new gearing. what gets me is my guy said he didnt do anything but pull the axel out and slide it back in, he never even touched the bearings. he has had i think 3 other jk's in his shop for the same problem same side same bearing. my bearings were stock with 30,000 miles and 20,000 has been running 37's. no problems untill he took things apart. not sure what went wrong either but he took care of it for me

that's exactly what I did with mine, took them out and right back in, regardless, at least I know now, I just hate the hassle, and it's odd that they were all the passenger side.

all is finally well, Jeep came through with the retainer clip, Autozone came through with the brake pads, and I am finally able to drive my jeep trouble free, minus the alignment, which is tomorrow
