Default The most obnoxious CAI?

So hypothetically speaking. I plan an adding a CAI. I have read enough threads and writeups to know that the gain's are minimal. So the question that I have is, What is the most obnoxious, loudest, meanest sounding bang for your buck CAI. All performance and hydro locking aside. If im looking for a CAI i think I want the most obnoxious sounding bi*ch I can get. I'm talking loud under load and standing still at idle. If the gains arnt there as far as HP and MPG's then give me noise. On a side note, I am running a flowmaster 40 and dig the sound but time to move up to the front and ad some tone

I don't know if it's the most obnoxious, but I can hear it:

Viper throttle body, Spectre 9761 coupler, Spectre 9132 filter, Outerwears 20-1278 pre-filter.

in order for someone to answer your question, they would have to have experienced all the cai's.

get the air raid and it wont let you down.

I've got the aem brute force cai. It's def loud when you get on it but no obnoxious, it sounds mean. You will not hear it at idle though.

Doesn't this set up defeat the purpose of Cold Air Intake

I agree with TripleJeep99. These two setups entirely defeat the whole concept of CAI. If you just looking for more noise, then that is fine, but if you are trying to make an improvement on the air intake system, you need more than this.

Don't forget if you are going to swap over to a snorkel most utilize the stock box. I'm still waiting to see what RR comes up with, I have the RR CAI now, but will probably have to revert to the stock box with a drop in K&N for the snorkel...

I didn't necessarily do it for a cooler charge, but I don't think so. I don't have inner fenderwells, for one, and, plus, I don't think one spot under the hood is any cooler than any other. If you're crawling (wheeling) it's all equally HOT. If you're moving (street) the air is churning around so much it doesn't make any difference where you get the air. JMO. There's really no practical way to prove it wither way.
