has anyone come up with a nifty way to mount the 3rd brake light on the swing gate so it can still be used when a bumper with a tire carrier is used also?

i had also thought about extending the wiring and re-mounting the light on the tire carrier.

i found one thread on here that i was interested in, but the pictures weren't working anymore.

 

I'm looking at getting a 3" round LED and I'm going to replace my spare wheel center cap with the LED for my third brake light, then I can do away with the E.T. head on my tailgate.

Looks like they modded the factory 3rd brake light to fit the bumper-mounted swingout.

 

What would be pretty unique if your good with creating stuff, is you mount a light on a center cap for the wheel and just bring the wires through the lug holes.

Me personal favorite, there are three brakelight LEDs on the LP light. May look familiar to some here.

 

AEV makes one like the 3 LED lights above. I have them and they really work well.
