Default Mounting A 35x12.5 Spare

What are all the different ways to mount a 35 inch tire and all the different products (bumpers, carriers, extensions) that could be used? If you're using anything to mount the spare, please give me a review of it.

There are countless bumper/tire carrier options, a few that mount to the body (Teraflex, PSC, Genright, etc) and some that just reinforce the stock carrier. Every one of those option has been reviewed on the site and prices vary greatly. I'd suggest searching and reading a lot.

I just put on the Teraflex HD Tire carrier and love it so far. It basically replaces the stock hinges and distributes the weight of the tire better on the tailgate. There's a bunch of reviews on YouTube for it as well as the forum.

I saw the adjustable carrier without the hinge. Is it still as 'strong' without the hinge?

Thanks. Was just hoping to have a lot of open options into one thread. I'll read around!
