Default MPAC Rack - How to Install so Removable?

Hi All,

I've been trying to think of a way to install my MPAC tailgate rack so that, contrary to if I had simply bolted it in, it would be a little more easily removable.

My plan for now is to put in the the same female threaded parts (don't know the name) that are used in the body of the jeep to attach the taillights, for example. Does anyone know the proper name for these so I can try and purchase a few? They're sort of a small metal clip that is riveted into a hole in the body, which can take a small bolt.

If anyone can let me know what these parts are actually called or a good place to buy them, I'd much appreciated it. Also, does anyone forsee any issues with installing it this way?

My main objective is not to be able to quickly remove the rack. Just to be capable of removing it once in a while.

Thanks!

Theyre called nutserts. Just make a hole below the actual mounting hole that is bigger then the bolt head. That way you can loosen it off and lift up the rack, and slide it off. Just leave the bolts in the nutserts.

Took me a second to picture what you're talking about, but that makes perfect sense. Thanks for the suggestion!
