wow did some math today after i filled up and im actually getting 13.6 my previous calculations were way off because i was using the fuel gage, witch is also off. The fuel light turned on and i was about a needles worth of space from the red line and there was still 5 galls still in the tank.

thats pretty good. you must drive very conservatively.

synthetic oil changes doesn't effect your mpg's at all, correct? thinking about making the switch..

Changing out all you fluids with synthetic oil throughout the drive train can and will not only give you a higher degree of protection but will in most cases increase you mpg....less friction .

If u want more information on amsoil and how to buy at dealer price email me.

You continue to babble about how noone should be suprised to get low mileage with big tires because you get poor mileage stock. Slow down, be easy accelerating, watch your passing and roll on on the highways and prep for hills by speeding up a bit so you dont hunt for gears and rev the motor high while climbing.

I live in fairly hilly country and travel in the woods alot at higher rpms in low gears and still break 20 mpg very regularly.

I would have to say that it is debatable. Some would say no, and probably the same would say yes. I personally feel, that although minimal, synthetic in the crank helps with mpgs. I do know that after I put synth gear oil in the diffs this past winter, it helped immensely when it got way down below 0.

Oh and btw......I got 350 miles on the last tankful I ran.
