naw, you'd be okay with the 4.10 gears. heck, i'm running 35's with 3.73 gears and it's okay. so long as you're not heavy on the gas, you should still see about 14-16 mpg.

My 35's and 4.10 gearing nets me ~15mpg 60%hwy/20%city/20%offroad. Also 2 steel bumpers, full size spare, and 17" aluminum wheels w/toyo MT rubber. For a pretty heavy 2dr I'm fine with my mileage (and its not like I have a choice)

I'll be regearing in March to 5.13's, but not because of my mileage

Could come down to the weight of the tires...any other additions winch, bumpers, could also drop your mileage.

i have 35 and 4:10. the ride is fine, but the MPG is awful....i am getting average of 12.4..... maybe i am not driving right. I have to do a lot of starting and stoping, and when ever i see a massive puddle or place some quick wheeling, i just drive off the road and do my thing and 5 min later i just get back on the road and continue to where i was going (usually to school)

I was getting 11.5 mpg (mostly city/ auto trans and 4.10s) after putting in 5.13s, I am at 14 mpg.

A lot of stop and go will kill your mileage, it takes more gas to get you moving than it does to maintain speed.

I got around 16 with 4.10s and 35s, manual tranny. Mostly highway driving.
What really killed it for me was the roof rack & basket. I think I'm down to about 14 mpg now.
