Default Mr Grille Billet inserts

Seriously considering a set of these in black, any one have any comments or issues with them?

Also they seem to be on back order everywhere.
I placed an order on Quadratec for them a couple weeks ago but they are still on back order. Anyone know of anything going on with the company? I found their ebay store but i'm concerened about ordering if something is going on and the price was much higher. I'm thinking maybe I should cancel my order.

I have them also in black, their great.. easy to install and never have to worry about them falling out or anything. I've had them installed for about a year now and no problems.

They also look really slick.

Since you also have a Jeep Metallic green here's what it's going to look like

Hey! Nice looking Jeep! I really need to take some shots of mine. Glad to hear these look and protect well. I definitely want them.

Does anyone have any idea why these grill inserts seem to be on permenant back order?

Just build your own. Less than $30. Check the search.

I ordered mine from Quadratec 2 weeks ago and they came in a few days later,. No back order.

I later saw that after I ordered them, there was an option for brushed finished or polished which look pretty much the same to me.

I paid about $100 bucks for them in polished finish.
The machine finish was like 20-30 bucks less.

Install was not too bad. Getting the last one done is a bit tricky but I came up with a trick.

Obviously with them installed you have protection but I just wonder if it runs a bit hotter at cruising speeds with more restricted air flow.

Well hopefully that means that Mr Grille isn't in trouble and still producing. Guess I'll wait and see if it ships next week.

I ordered the Black ones that came to $100 after shipping. Mr Grille EBAY store wants a $50 more than that.

I have the black ones and love them, besides the fact of the hardware rusting within two days. Anyone elses little allen bolts rusted already?
