Default Which MT tire would you NOT recommend?

I've seen plenty of threads on which tire to get, this tire vs that tire, etc. But I haven't seen one talking about which tire to stay away from because they didn't perform, didn't hold up, bad tread wear, etc.
So which tires have you used or seen in action that you would not use again or recommend?
Please try not to stray too far from topic. We don't want to see tire hate because of a bad experience with an all-season on your Ford. We also don't want to see five pages of KM2 love.

Thanks

LOL on the KM2 love part...i feel ya

as for my experience and I know there are tons of people who disagree, but I would personally not recommend the Mickey Thompson MTZ's....they look great, perform amazingly in mud, but i got on some small jagged rocks and when i was done I had cut tread blocks with chunks missing. Some of that is to be expected for sure when you're wheelin' hard, but that's just it...it wasn't that bad of a hill that I did this on. I didn't think all too much about it until I later climbed the same hill with the same jagged rocks several times with the Hankook MT's I have now....not one cut, not one chunk missing. go figure

I would not recommend the Dunlop mud rover. They have a very soft compound that chunks out way to easy on the rocks. Yes they are cheap, you get what you pay for.

maxxis buckshot. dunlop mud rover I didn't really care for either. Nothing major, just fast wear, 50lbs of weight to balance. not bad tires, and I wouldn't tell someone they are bad. I would not use them again though. I would never run a bias ply on the street. Are you wanting a mud tire for off-road only, or street queen, or combo?

I would not recomend the Firestone Destination M/T or the Timberline M/T (Firestone off brand name). They rode ok, but had a bad habbit of chunking and throwing whole lugs from the tire. I had 3 replaced under warranty in less than 1k miles before I got my money back.

EDIT: Firestone did honor their warranty no questions asked and I recieved a 100% refund. I would use Firestone tires again, just not those specific models.

Haha, I couldn't resist. As for which mud tire to avoid, I can't really help as my only tire experiences has been with BFG AT's on a Montero and the KM2's on my JK. I actually am getting a little chunking on my KM2's, but it's probably because of spinning them on rocks and dirt.

I used to switch out driving to work with a coworker who had a 80's Yota that had Bias TSL's. We did 80 miles a day and I didnt think it was that horrible. Flat spotting only happens when the tires are cold, give it ten minutes of rolling and it goes away. The sound the tires made were better than the sound of our Jeep's crummy V6 exhaust note.
