Default MT tires

I really like the look of the Firestone Destination MT, just looking for any input on these and how they hold up on the trails, how strong/durable they are?

Got a co-worker who has them on a pick-up. I will ask him tomorrow about the performance.

I went to their website its a 3 ply tire witch in my opinion is not that good.If you wheel your jeep stick with what others are using. I run toyo mt myself. their is nothing like trying to change a tire on the trail in a bad place. good luck with your choice

This is from another post of mine...
I had a set of 33s on my 94 4runner and absolutely loved them. They looked d@mn good and wore great. I sold it with a little over 20k on the tires and they easily had another 20-25k left. As long as you rotate them regularly (which i didn't ) and watch you're pressure they're great tires. I agree with Tsl though, they suck in icy slushy snow but then again what unsiped MTs don't.
My Rubi tires have worn worse and seen less trail than the firestones....lighter trails

Yeah my grabbers are terrible in the snow too. So if you loved them so much on your 4 runner why didn't you put them on your JK?

The Destinations are "E" rated also, plus I work at a Firestone and can get an amazing deal for 5 315/70/17 for just under $1000.00. I figure since I work at Firestone I should ride on them.

I've still got the stock tires on my jeep but when it comes time will definitely keep my eye open for them

Co-worker says they did okay on snow and are doing okay on rain. Says they are noisy right now because they need to be rotated and would buy them when these wear our out if price isn't to much.
