Default MTR w/k breakin

I mentioned to a guy that builds offroad rigs and competes with them that with my MTRs I feel every bump in the road. He said to run them around town at 14-15 psi to force the sidewalls to flex. That, he said, will help the kevlar sidewall breakin and give a softer ride when back up to 28-30 psi. Any truth to that theory?? It makes sense, but I'm just a guy with a Jeep, so what do I know?

I didn't notice any difference with mine either. I had them aired down to 10 psi numerous times, with several off road trips of 100+ miles at that pressure. They rode the same when aired back up again. I would think if you wanted a softer ride just run them at a lower pressure (24 psi instead of 30 psi).

That's what I expected to hear. It seemed a little odd that the kevlar would change after flexing. 28-30 psi gets me an even road contact for control and wear, so I'll stick with that and live with the ride.

Thanks
