Default Mud-Terrain™ T/A® KM2

My Teraflex BB is in the mail!!!! Can't wait!!!

So I wanna upgrade to 33's. Theres a perfect set of Mud-Terrain™ T/A® KM2s out there that fit the stock rim, and the KM2 has a nice mean tread pattern.

I've seen a couple reviews on the web on this tire, but theres not much for on road performace... Anyone out there running these???
How are they on road, are they louder than the MT KM's? Anyone have them in snow? Is the tread wear about the same as the KM Muds? Just lookin for some KM2 reviews...

Ive searched the forum as well and couldent find anything on it.

Thanks,

C

The tires are so new that I doubt you'll be able to get too many reviews from average consumers at this time. But, I can tell you that the rubber compound seems to be softer than the regular KM's and would guess they are quieter on road and with more cuts in the tread, would imagine they would offer better traction on wet/slippery roads. On the rocks, they should do very well but I hear they aren't too good in the mud.

I would stick with the tried and true if I was you.. Let some one else try them first.

Default 33's

I'd love to stick with the Mud Terrain KM's.

What I'm trying to do is keep using my stock rims. On the bfgoodrich website they list all sizes available for the tires. There isn't a 33 inch tire listed for a 17 inch rim on the site for the Mud Terrain KM's . They only go up to 16.5 inch rims...

so im confused how mrsig got the 33's in BFG MT's?

I want to stick with the BFG brand b/c I get them rather cheap (and I love them).

I may have to take sigs advise and wait it out for some additional reviews!

Default km2

Thats killer! Good to know.
Could you compare them to the KM's at all?

You'll have to get some pics up soon, so everyone can check though bad boys out.

So I take it thus far (only on road driving) you're pleased?

I had mine at the French Lick Jamboree last weekend. The drive down there was probably as quiet or quieter than my factory 32" KM1's. Off road they were perfect. Held every rock and ledge. Not a scratch on the treads. I would highly recommend them.
