If choosing between the two, I like the MTR w/ Kevlar. But I would throw in the Mud Grappler as it is just AWESOME! Or even the above posted, Trail Grappler...less aggressive yet fully functional.

I have the MT/R's their noisey but you need to expect that on MT's, they are great so far. Have heard that you need to be on top of rotating them every 6k or they can be a bear to keep round.

I have KM2s. Friend has the Goodyear Wranglers. Same rocks, same conditions, mine roll up without so much as a squawk. He just spins.

He used to have the old-style Wranglers that were getting very bald. He used to be able to walk up crap I struggled with, even with the bald tires. The new Wranglers seem to have a much harder tire compound. His tires are much newer than mine so that might be the difference. I've seen other Wrangler-equipped, um, well, Wranglers have trouble while other tires not so much.

Perhaps the moral of the story is well-worn (read "loved") tires perform better than showroom-new tires?
