Default muffler with no hanger

wanting to put up a race bullet tomorrow but it has no hanger welded to it or on it so i was wondering what is the reliability of metal strapping that is sold at local auto stores to work as a hanger. this is the strap i am talking about:
VersaChem/5 ft. metal strap (00105) | Exhaust Repair | AutoZone.com
any other suggestion will be nice, first exhaust bit worried about it

That should work. They also sell a hanger that requires a clamp to get it to hold. Been holding on my dynomax on for almost a year now with no issues

They make a strap with a rubber insulator that you can clamp to the muffler

Metal strapping is a half ass way to do it and it will wiggle around a lot. I agree on using a clamp/hanger.
